What will I be doing?

As a L&D Coordinator, you are responsible for identifying and providing training to team members to deliver an excellent guest experience. A L&D Coordinator would also be required to assist departments in achieving training objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Provide quality training to internal customers

  • Assist in coordinating and administering Workplace Integrated Learning

  • Draft and communicate a training plan and training calendar

  • Adhere to in-house training requirements for Quality Assurance purposes

  • Identify training and development needs systematically throughout the hotel in conjunction with Line Managers/Head of Department, Human Resources Business Partner and General Manager

  • Assist Line Manager/Head of Department in achieving training objectives and review on a monthly basis

  • Prepare, organise, administer and conduct in-house training courses i.e. new Hire Orientation, etc. 

  • Ensure new team members receive their on-boarding training requirements and customised L&D Plans

  • Assign mandatory e-learning courses to nominated delegates 

  • Hold monthly Departmental meetings with trainers to ensure training needs are being covered

  • Tertiary qualification within training or related field

  • Knowledge of hospitality

Yes. This position requires a Criminal Records Bureau Check. Hilton Worldwide will conduct this check during the employment process.
